The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is being made into a TV series.

Based on Stieg Larsson‘s Millenium book series, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo has already appeared on the big screen in 2021 with David Fincher‘s film adaptation of the novel, which starred Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig.

The Girl in the Spider’s Web, directed by Fede Alvarez and starring Claire Foy and Sverrir Gudnason, was released in 2018.

ABC Orders Marvel Female Superhero Project From 'Wonder Woman' Screenwriter Allan Heinberg!

There’s a new Marvel project coming to ABC!

The network has given a production commitment to a series which will include Marvel female superheroes, Deadline reported on Wednesday (September 19).

The untitled hour-long drama will come from Allan Heinberg, who also wrote the screenplay for Wonder Woman. No specific plot details have been revealed yet.

“I hear the drama is based on lesser-known Marvel characters. There have been a number of fairly obscure female superhero team-ups that have appeared sporadically in Marvel comics over the years, including A-Force, Lady Liberators and Fearless Defenders,” Deadline‘s Nellie Andreeva writes.

“Launching a new Marvel series has been a priority for ABC, with the Heinberg project emerging as a strong contender from the get-go, I hear.”

Matthew Broderick will be taking part in Fox’s upcoming live musical A Christmas Story!

The 55-year-old actor will be joining Maya Rudolph in the upcoming Christmas musical that is set to debut on Sunday, December 17.

The movie adaptation centers around a boy named Ralphie in the 1940s who wants a Red Ryder BB Gun for Christmas.

Matthew will be portraying the role of adult Ralphie and will be narrating the musical.

Oscar and Tony-winning duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul will write new music for the event.

'Serial' Podcast Being Made Into a Television Show!

The fan-favorite podcast Serial is now being made into a television series!

Sarah Koenig‘s smash hit podcast is being developed for Fox 21 Television Studios with the This American Life team set to executive produce.

The series will not follow the story of involving the murder of Hae Min Lee and the Adnan Syed case, but rather, will show a behind-the-scenes look at Sarah‘s rise to creating one of the most popular podcasts of the 2014, Vulture reports.

The second season of Serial will follow Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl, who went missing while in Afghanistan and was captured by the Taliban.
