Sandra Bullock Praises Her Young Co-Star

Sandra Bullock leaves her hotel and heads to the Today studios for an interview on Thursday (December 15) in NYC.

The 47-year-old actress chatted about her new movie, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, and praised her young co-star, Thomas Horn, for his performance in the drama.

“You don’t give someone like [him] advice because he doesn’t need it and this isn’t going to be his sole career,” Sandra shared. “He is destined to do so many things of great worth – not that acting isn’t something of great worth – but he knows what he’s here to do and he has so many interests.”

“He might only be 13, 14, but he’s far more educated, wiser, kind, empathetic than most adults in this room,” she added. “And I don’t say that as a negative thing … He was given this opportunity for something he wanted to take on and he did not shy away from day one. It’s frightening to watch his level of professionalism.”
