Karl Lagerfeld Dead - Fashion Legend Dies at 85

Karl Lagerfeld, creative director for Chanel and Fendi, has passed away at the age of 85.

So far, no official cause of death has been revealed, the BBC reports.

Rumors about Karl‘s health began to swirl just a few weeks ago when he was noticeably absent from Chanel’s January 22 fashion show in Paris.

In addition to his famed fashion designs, he was also well known as a photographer and video director. Karl was credited with transforming Chanel after taking over the brand in 1983. He also had his own brand and designed for H&M. Over the years, he has worked with countless celebrities and tributes are already starting to pour in.
