Adele Wins Emmy Award, Only One Award Away from EGOT Status!

Adele is now an Emmy winner!

On Saturday evening (September 3), the 34-year-old entertainer won her first Emmy award at the 2022 Creative Arts Emmy Awards, making her now only won award away from achieving EGOT status.

Adele won the Emmy for Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded) for her CBS Special, Adele One Night Only, which aired back on November 14, 2021.

With this Emmy win, Adele is now only one award away from achieving EGOT status. She just needs to win a Tony award.

Adele has won 15 Grammys and won the Oscar for Best Original Song back in 2013 for her James Bond song “Skyfall.”
