Jimmy Kimmel‘s bit at the 2022 Emmy Awards did not go according to plan.
If you missed it, the 54-year-old late-night host laid on the ground for a stunt after announcing that Quinta Brunson had won the Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series. He was on camera for the entirety of her acceptance speech, which ruffled a few feathers.

The 32-year-old Abbott Elementary star, writer and showrunner spoke out about the awkward moment at the 2022 Emmys, during which Jimmy Kimmel laid down in front of her during her acceptance speech as a bit.

Pete Davidson made a surprise appearance at the 2022 Emmy Awards and some eagle-eyed fans noticed something interesting about his outfit!
The 28-year-old comedian and actor wore the same Dickies outfit that Kanye West previously wore to the 2019 Met Gala, which he attended with ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
Pete and Kanye have been in a constant feud for the past year after Pete entered a relationship with Kim, though they split up over the summer. One report from last month said that the comedian has been in “trauma therapy” to deal with the aftermath of Kanye‘s attacks on him.
The outfit choice for the Emmys seems to be an intentional way of throwing shade at Kanye.
“Can we all just appreciate Pete Davidson dressing like Kanye for the Emmy’s,” one person wrote on Twitter.
Someone else said, “Pete Davidson got on a whole Dickies fit at the Emmy’s Kanye bout to have a cow.”

However, while on stage to accept her award, the mega-talented 32-year-old had to accept her award and give her acceptance speech while Jimmy Kimmel was on the ground in front of her.
If you didn’t see the moment, Jimmy was involved in a bit while presenting the award. Will Arnett dragged a “passed out” Jimmy on stage to present the award, and joked that Jimmy got “drunk” after losing an Emmy that night to John Oliver.
Fans were rightfully outraged that Quinta had to deliver her speech on stage while Jimmy was laying on the ground in front of her.

A clip is circulating Twitter and going viral after Zendaya‘s historic 2022 Emmy Awards win.
If you don’t know, last night, the 26-year-old actress won her second Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her role in Euphoria. Zendaya‘s win at the awards show is history making, as she is the youngest Lead Actress two-time winner. She also won the same award back in 2020 for season one of Euphoria, and she made history then as the youngest winner.
After her win, Zendaya was interviewed by a number of outlets and fans are noting one video in particular that is now going viral.

Zendaya changed into her second look of the night while celebrating her win following the 2022 Emmy Awards.
The 26-year-old actress wore a red dress while attending HBO’s Emmys After Party on Monday night (September 12) at San Vicente Bungalows in West Hollywood, Calif.
Zendaya was joined at the party by her Euphoria co-stars Sydney Sweeney (who also changed into her second dress of the night), Maude Apatow (with her dad Judd Apatow), and Chloe Cherry.
During the Emmys, Zendaya picked up her second consecutive win for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series and made history as the youngest person to win twice in the category.
Sydney was a double nominee at the Emmys for her work in Euphoria and The White Lotus. It’s also her birthday!
FYI: Zendaya is wearing a Valentino dress. Sydney is wearing vintage Versace. Maude is wearing a Vivienne Westwood dress and Cartier jewelry. Chloe is wearing a Dolce&Gabbana dress and jewelry by Grace Lee and Nicole Rose.
