The stars are stepping out for W Magazine‘s big party!

The magazine hosted their 2023 Best Performances Party on Friday night (February 24) held at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.

Best Performance cover stars Austin Butler, Michelle Williams, Jennifer Lawrence, Taylor Russell, and Ana de Armas were all in attendance as well as W Best Performances feature stars Danielle Deadwyler, Kate Hudson, Aubrey Plaza, Diego Calva, Mia Goth, and Jeremy Pope.

Guests enjoyed Casamigos cocktails especially curated for the evening: a spicy cucumber jalapeno margarita and a grapefruit rosemary paloma.

The 2023 BAFTAs show has begun and we are recapping all of the looks from the red carpet!

The stars are out in full force for the EE BAFTA Film Awards on Sunday (February 19) at The Royal Festival Hall in London, England.

The BAFTAs are considered to be the British Oscars and most of the stars nominated at this year’s Oscars are also up for awards tonight.

The Netflix movie All Quiet on the Western Front is leading the nominations this year with 14 noms while The Banshees of Inisherin and Everything Everywhere All at Once are both up for 10 awards.

Ana de Armas is on her way to becoming a massive movie star, but she doesn’t agree that “movie stars” are a thing anymore.

The Oscar-nominated actress, who most recently starred in Netflix’s Blonde, is explaining why she doesn’t think movie stars exist in the social media generation.

The 34-year-old actress got candid in a new interview for Vanity Fair, which is out now.

During the conversation, Ana spoke candidly about her desire to play Marilyn Monroe, her perception of the industry afterward, and why she’s weary of social media.

Lil Rel Howery doesn’t seem to be supportive of Ana de Armas‘ Oscar nomination for Blonde, despite being a former co-star of hers.

The two actors worked together on the Hulu movie Deep Water, which was released in March 2022.

While appearing on Into It: A Vulture Podcast, Lil Rel voiced his support of the Academy’s investigation into the Best Actress nomination that Andrea Riseborough received for To Leslie.

“Well, first of all, I hate that’s the only investigation the Academy has because I feel like, even though they keep telling us the members are diverse, I don’t believe it,” he said. “It can’t be. It cannot be. It cannot be when you don’t see … Viola Davis has been nominated for an Academy Award before, but this particular character she played in The Woman King. Viola Davis is in her 50s. So outside of what she did with just the dialect and the acting, the physicality… It’s just very unfortunate that we keep — and just being honest, especially as Black people, we want to be recognized by the Academy so bad because we know what it does for our bag. You know what I’m saying?”

Lil Rel seems to think that someone else should have been bumped out of the category instead of Andrea though.

Colin Farrell‘s admiration for Ana De Armas is getting some attention online!

The 46-year-old actor won for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for his portrayal of Pádraic Súilleabháin in The Banshees of Inisherin at the 2023 Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Tuesday night (January 10) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

As he appeared onstage, he praised the 34-year-old Blonde actress, which resulted in a lot of reactions on social media.

“I just KNEW Colin was gonna shoot his shot at Ana he is so ran through 😭,” one user commented.

“Colin Ferrell said Ana de Armas, I HAVE ONE SHOT AND I WILL TAKE IT NOW,” said another. See the reactions inside!

Ana De Armas is ready for the big night.

The 34-year-old Blonde actress hit the red carpet at the 2023 Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Tuesday night (January 10) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Ana is nominated in the category of Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama for the role of Norma Jeane Mortensen, otherwise known as Marilyn Monroe, in Blonde.

Ana de Armas‘ fans who rented the movie Yesterday because she appeared in the film’s trailer but did not appear in the final film, sued Universal Pictures and won their first victory.

The show this year is being hosted by comedian Jerrod Carmichael and marks the Globes’ return to television after a one-year hiatus due to reforms needed in the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Make sure to check out the full list of nominees and our predicted winners.
