'Expendables 2' Tops Weekend Box Office!

The Expendables 2 has taken the top spot at this weekend’s box office!

The action packed thriller, starring Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, and Liam Hemsworth, brought in $28.8 million, about $6 million less then the first installment made in its opening weekend back in 2010, according to THR.

Coming in second was Jeremy Renner‘s The Bourne Legacy, which brought in $17 million for a domestic total of $69.6 million.

Family friendly flick ParaNorman took the number three slot with $14 million.

Rounding out the top five were Will Ferrell and Zach GalifianakisThe Campaign, which grossed $13.4 million, and Whitney Houston and Jordin SparksSparkle, which brought in $12 million.

    The third one sounds good. Not sure about the others. Guess I am kind of waiting for the late fall and winter releases. Bleak summer for folks like me who hate remakes and action movies.
