'The Rite' Tops Box Office; 'Mechanic' Takes Third Place

Anthony Hopkins‘ The Rite took the top spot at this weekend’s box office!

The thriller, which tells the story of an American priest traveling to Italy to visit an exorcism school, brought in $15 million.

Second place was No Strings Attached with $13.6 million, followed by The Mechanic and The Green Hornet, which were tied for third place with $11.5 million.

Rounding out the top five was the critically acclaimed King’s Speech, with $11.1 million.
