'Snow White' Director Talks Charlize Theron Collaboration

Charlize Theron heads back to her car after stopping by a medical building on Tuesday (March 20) in Los Angeles.

The 36-year-old actress recently returned from NYC where she had been promoting Snow White and the Huntsman with co-star Kristen Stewart.

The film’s director, Rupert Sanders, chatted with THR about Charlize‘s take on the iconic role of the Queen.

“You don’t want an actor who’s a puppet, you want an actor who challenges you creatively. And that happens with all actors that are good – we always have a conversation about the scene,” he shared.

“We made the film very collectively and very collaboratively, and we were a very friendly and close group of people,” Rupert added. “I’m a very collaborative director and very collaborative with actors, and that’s when you get the best out of each other.”
