Riley Keough: 'Vanity Fair' Vanities Girl!

Here’s what the 23-year-old actress shared with VF‘s Krista Smith:

On acting: “I’m kind of shy and quiet. But I’m only shy in my personal life. If I’m working, somehow I’m not and it goes away… I think acting is a fun thing because you get to have so many lifetimes in one lifetime, being all these different people.”

On her ambitions as a child: “I loved Stanley Kubrick movies when I was a teenager. I didn’t originally want to act. I Wanted to be a director when I was younger, and I made these silly little horror movies. And then I started wanting to act when I was 16 or 17.”

She and Zoe Kravitz caught a departing flight to Africa to begin shooting the action adventure Mad Max: Fury Road. Also featured in the movie will be Charlize Theron, Tom Hardy, and Nicholas Hoult.
