J.J. Abrams & Brett Ratner - Vanity Fair Oscars Party 2013

J.J. Abrams suits up while attending the 2013 Vanity Fair Oscar Party held at Sunset Tower on Sunday (February 24) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 46-year-old director was accompanied on the red carpet by his wife Katie McGrath.

Brett Ratner was also spotted attending the party.

J.J. recently chatted about the wait of his upcoming film Star Trek Into Darkness.

“It’s not decades, but it’s long enough that you do have to remind people what the thing is and where it’s at,” J.J. shared. “It would have been better probably for the studio [if we'd put it out earlier], because it would have been fresher in people’s minds. But I’m happy we didn’t rush it. It wouldn’t have been a better movie if it came out earlier, I know that.”
