Sam Champion and his husband Rubem Robierb stop to take a selfie while checking out the sights on Saturday (December 28) in Trancoso, Brazil.

The 54-year-old former GMA weatherman and his husband, who is a Brazilian born artist, are taking a nice long vacation in his home country for the holidays!

“Taking off for beauutiful [Brazil] tomorrow! Where are u spending the holidays?” Sam wrote on Twitter last week.

Sam is currently launching a long-form primetime interview show at his current job with The Weather Channel!
