Debra Messing Gets Cast in 'Dirty Dancing' Remake

It was just announced that Debra Messing is set to star in ABC’s remake of the classic film Dirty Dancing!

The 47-year-old Will & Grace star will portray the role of Marjorie Houseman, the mother of Baby, played by Abigail Breslin.

The three-hour remake of the 1987 film will follow the original plot closely, as Baby and her affluent family travel to the Catskill Mountains for a vacation, where she falls for the hotel’s dance instructor.

Although the rest of the Dirty Dancing cast has not been revealed, it is set to start filming this Spring.
