Kumail Nanjiani Raises $10,000 While Planking During 'Ellen Show' Appearance

Kumail Nanjiani just gave back in a big way by just planking!

The 42-year-old Eternals star appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday (May 18), and took on the host’s Plank That Song challenge.

“I work out as if my sanity depends on it,” he shared about his workout routine during quarantine. “I really was doing it so much because I was like, this is the only thing left tethering me to sanity.”

During the Plank That Song challenge, Kumail toughed it out to The Bangles’ hit song, “Eternal Flame” and it helped to raise $10,000 for the Center for Disaster Philanthropy.

Lately, Kumail has been spotted out on walks with wife Emily V. Gordon and dinner runs.
