Here's How Broadway's 'Waitress' Will Honor Nick Cordero When the Show Returns Next Week

The Broadway musical Waitress is returning to the New York stage next week and the show will be honoring original cast member Nick Cordero with a special tribute in the production.

Nick, who passed away from COVID-19 complications last year, originated the role of Earl in the Broadway production back in 2016.

As you might remember, Nick had a song called “Live Your Life” and his wife Amanda Kloots asked her friends, family, and fans to play the song every night to send strength to Nick while he was in the hospital.

The Joe’s Diner chalkboard will have a new pie listed when the show returns. The “Live Your Life” pie will be featured on the show’s set and it’s a tribute to Nick, according to BroadwayWorld.com.
