Zendaya isn’t going to be at the 2021 Met Gala, she just confirmed in an interview with Extra.

“I will be on Euphoria. My fans are going to be very upset with me,” she revealed during the interview.

“I will unfortunately not be able to attend because I’ll be working for Euphoria. I got my time off to come here and do this Venice experience, which has been really, really special,” she went on to say.

“I wish I could, especially since this fashion icon is going to be hosting,” she continued, referring to her Dune co-star Timothee Chalamet, who she did interviews with in support of their movie at the 2021 Venice Film Festival in the past week.

“I’m really looking forward to the Met and I want to soak it all in. I know I have some responsibilities for the evening too, but I really just want to see everyone,” Timothee confirmed of his own appearance at the fashionable event.
