VMAs Insider Reveals Machine Gun Kelly's Performance Was Changed Around at Last Minute

There was reportedly a last minute change of plans for Machine Gun Kelly‘s performance at the VMAs alongside Travis Barker.

The guys hit the stage at the end of the night to perform their song “Papercuts” at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night (September 12) at the Barclays Center in New York City.

An insider has revealed that MGK and Travis were actually supposed to perform earlier in the night, but something happened that led to a delay.

“Machine Gun Kelly buried himself in a grave as they were setting up to perform. He then burst out of the dirt in his grave, ran off stage and said something to Travis,” an eyewitness told Us Weekly. “He was throwing elbows and seemed very upset before running backstage. The crew came and rolled off MGK’s grave and Travis’ huge drum off the stage.”

The insider said that the drums were on stage for “about 10 minutes” before they were taken away. MGK then went back to his seat with girlfriend Megan Fox and ended up performing at the end of the night.
