'Squid Game' Is No. 1 Among Halloween Costume Internet Searches
Squid Game is not only huge on Netflix, but it’s going to be having a big moment on Halloween.
Costumes related to the South Korean survival series are surging in Internet searches ahead of the holiday, CNN reported.
According to the report, searches for “Squid Game costume” are outpacing other movie and TV character costume searches in a study from Design Bundles.
Costumes from the show are now on top of the costume charts, accounting for nearly one-third of the top 11 most popular costume searches, the study found.
After Squid Game are some popular characters in the Top 10, including Catwoman, Harley Quinn, Joker and Spider-Man, as well as Pennywise, Harry Potter and Wonder Woman.
Netflix recently revealed the “mind-boggling” amount of people who’ve tuned in to watch the series so far since its debut last month.
