Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Wants to Be the Next James Bond

The Rock is the latest celeb to put his name in the ring to play the next 007 aka James Bond!

Daniel Craig just wrapped up the role in No Time to Die, and will be departing as the beloved superspy.

“My grandfather [Peter Maivia] was a Bond villain in ‘You Only Live Twice’ with Sean Connery. Very, very cool,” Dwayne told Esquire recently. If you don’t know, You Only Live Twice was a Bond movie released in 1967.

He then said, “I would like to follow in his footsteps and be the next Bond. I don’t want to be a villain. Gotta be Bond.”
