‘Minx’ Canceled at HBO Max Despite Previous Renewal, Reason Why Revealed

Minx has unfortunately been canceled after 1 season by HBO Max, despite the fact that the streamer actually renewed the series for a second season back in May.

Production on a second season of the show was reportedly even nearly completed!

The show was set in 1970s Los Angeles and centered around Joyce (Ophelia Lovibond), an earnest young feminist who joined forces with a low-rent publisher (Jake Johnson) to create the first erotic magazine for women.
