Mauricio Umansky Talks Marital Issues with Kyle Richards, Insists They're 'Not Separated'

Mauricio Umansky is sharing an update on his marriage with Kyle Richards.

Over the summer, it was reported that the 53-year-old real estate mogul and the 54-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star were separating after 26 years of marriage.

The two then released a joint statement saying that they were not divorcing, but they did admit that they’ve had a “rough year” in their marriage.

In a new interview, Mauricio talked about his and Kyle‘s marital woes, insisting that they are “not separated.”

“We were dealing with our own things, kind of, super quietly and internally, just our own issues,” Mauricio explained while appearing on the latest episode of The Agency’s Red Mic podcast. “I mean, certainly, we’re not separated. We’re not divorced at this point. We are not any of that stuff.”

Mauricio added that he and Kyle are “still dealing with our marriage.”

“We’ve been married for 27 years now together, and it’s been an amazing 27 years,” Mauricio said, before clarifying that “it’s been an amazing 26 years and it’s been a difficult one year.”

He continued, “You know, Kyle and I are blessed, where we actually had 26 years that we did not have a bad year and I know most marriages have bad months, bad weeks [and] bad years.”

Following reports of a separation, Kyle and a female country music singer have sparked a lot of romance rumors.
