Catherine Zeta-Jones and Dylan Michael Douglas turn the red carpet event for the new Disney+ series National Treasure: Edge of History at the El Capitan Theatre into a mother-son outing on Monday (December 5).
The 53-year-old Wednesday actress and her 22-year-old son walked the red carpet together in Los Angeles. The series, which Catherine stars in, is a new addition to the National Treasure franchise.

Disney+ was at Comic-Con to debut the first footage from the upcoming series National Treasure: Edge of History.
The new series is based on the hit film franchise and will star Lisette Olivera as Jess, a brilliant and resourceful DREAMer who embarks on the adventure of a lifetime to uncover the truth about her family’s mysterious past and save a lost Pan-American treasure.
It was previously announced that Catherine Zeta-Jones will star in the series and Justin Bartha will guest star, reprising his role as Riley Poole.
Joining Lisette at the Comic-Con panel on Thursday (July 21) were co-stars Zuri Reed, Antonio Cipriano, Jordan Rodrigues, Jake Austin Walker, and Lyndon Smith, and executive producers Cormac and Marianne Wibberley. See photos from the panel in the gallery!

Disney+ has rounded out the cast of their upcoming National Treasure series.
Lyndon Smith, Zuri Reed, Jake Austin Walker, Antonio Cipriano, and Jordan Rodrigues have joined Lisette Alexis in the adventure show, according to Deadline.

The new stars of the Broadway musical Jagged Little Pill have been announced ahead of the show’s reopening next month!
Tony nominees Elizabeth Stanley and Celia Rose Gooding will not be featured in the reopening cast when the show returns to Broadway on October 21.
Heidi Blickenstaff and Morgan Dudley have been cast as Mary Jane Healy and Frankie Healy, respectively.
Elizabeth is currently on maternity leave and will return to the show in November while Celia has left the cast after landing the role of Uhura in the Paramount+ series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
Returning original cast members include Kathryn Gallagher, Derek Klena, Sean Allan Krill, Lauren Patten, and Antonio Cipriano.
“I am very excited for Elizabeth having become a mother!” Alanis Morissette said in a statement. “And thrilled that she is able to return to the role of Mary Jane in a way that cares for this deeply important chapter of her personal journey – by sharing the role with Heidi, who herself is a mom. Kathryn Gallagher‘s mom Paula covers up her chest while posing on the red carpet at the Jagged Little Pill opening night after party on Thursday (December 5) in New York City.
The 26-year-old actress was also joined by her dad, actor Peter Gallagher!
Kathryn had so much support from celeb friends at the event. Her You co-star Elizabeth Lail and high school classmates Ben Platt and Beanie Feldstein were just some of the stars in attendance. Ben‘s brother Jonah Platt also was there!
On the red carpet, Kathryn also posed with her co-stars Lauren Patten, Elizabeth Stanley, Celia Rose Gooding, Derek Klena, and Antonio Cipriano.
Kathryn is getting rave reviews for her performance as Bella, who is a victim of date-rape and performs Alanis Morissette‘s brand new song “Predator.”
The New York Times, Entertainment Weekly, and Mashable all noted that Kathryn‘s work in the musical is “heartbreaking” while Variety says that she is “giving a helluva performance.”
The Daily Beast says that Kathryn is “excellent in a truly tough part,” Broadway News notes that she is “extraordinarily fine in depicting her character’s confusion and shame,” and Deadline writes that Kathryn is “worth singling out in a universally strong cast.”
