Morgan Freeman Accused of Harassment & Unwanted Touching

Morgan Freeman is being accused of inappropriate behavior.

In a report published by CNN on Thursday (May 24), several people came forward to allege they were victims of harassment or inappropriate behavior from the 80-year-old actor.

In the report, two people, including a production assistant on Going In Style, said they were subjected to unwanted touching. The production assistant claimed he made “comments about her figure and clothing on a near-daily basis,” and that he would “rest his hand on her lower back or rub her lower back.”

She also said he “kept trying to lift up my skirt and asking if I was wearing underwear.”

In another instance, an entertainment reporter and member of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association said that he “made comments about her skirt and her legs during two different junkets.”

As with several other women featured in the article, she said “Freeman’s fame and power kept her from speaking out.”

CNN reported that they reached out to Morgan‘s spokesperson for comment “and then, at his request, emailed him a detailed list of the accusations against Freeman. The spokesperson did not respond to multiple follow-ups by email seeking comment on the accusations.”
