Ninja Becomes First Pro Gamer to Be Signed by Adidas

Ninja just keeps getting bigger.

The 28-year-old pro gamer, also known as Tyler Blevins, has inked a brand deal with Adidas, making him the first-ever gamer to be signed by the brand.

The deal is meant to demonstrate that the brand is interested in “supporting creators who show dedication to excelling in their field” in a statement to Engadget.

The announcement follows Ninja‘s recent headline-making move from Twitch to Mixer.

“No shortcuts. Only long days. Never let anyone tell you that you can’t catch your dreams. Choose your path. Put the TIME IN. I’m humbled, and excited, to officially announce my partnership with @adidasoriginals,” he wrote on Twitter.
