2 'Star Wars' Movies Officially Canceled

Two longtime Star Wars projects have been officially shelved.
The two projects in question were Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins‘ Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, and another Star Wars film that did not have a title that was being developed by Marvel executive Kevin Feige.

There was some potential writing on the wall for Patty‘s film after it was suddenly pulled from the December 2023 release calendar back in September. At the time, she told Variety she was still developing the movie but, “I don’t know if it will happen or not.”
Variety reports that Kevin‘s film was still in active stages as of May of 2022.
There are still some Star Wars films in development including one from famed Marvel director Taika Waititi, and one from Ms. Marvel‘s Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. The report indicates that Taika also wants a role in his Star Wars film.
