Anna Paquin, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, & Anika Noni Rose Promote 'Roots' at MIPTV

Anna Paquin and Jonathan Rhys Meyers pose for photos at the photo call for their new TV mini-series Roots during 2016 MIPTV on Monday (April 4) in Cannes, France.

Also in attendance at the photo call was their co-star Anika Noni Rose.

The mini-series will air on A&E over four consecutive nights beginning on May 30 at 9:00pm ET/PT.

A&E says the mini-series is a “historical portrait of American slavery recounting the journey of one family and their will to survive and ultimately carry on their legacy despite hardship.”
