Women of Congress Wear White at State of the Union Speech

Rep. Lois Frankel, the chair of the House Democratic women’s working group, tweeted out the dress code this week.
“At State of the Union tonight, @realDonaldTrump will look out at the House Chamber and see a sea of #Suffragette white sending the message loud&clear that @HouseDemWomen are fighting for the economic security of women & families,” she wrote.
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi was seen wearing white while sitting behind President Trump as he delivered his speech.
