Source Speaks Out About Alleged Britney Spears 'Intervention'

A source cleared the air after a report claimed that Britney Spears was almost the subject of an intervention.
On Thursday (February 9), TMZ reported that several individuals close to the 41-year-old “Toxic” pop star had planned an intervention due to concerns about her health and wellbeing. An alleged insider told the outlet that there were concerns Britney was “gonna die.”
Neither Britney‘s father Jamie Spears or her children Sean Preston and Jayden James were reportedly involved with the intervention, which was supposed to take place on Tuesday.
The event never took place, reportedly because Britney caught on. She is said to have had an appointment with a doctor instead on Wednesday.
However, another insider has contested the report.

An insider told Page Six that the possible intervention was deemed “unnecessary.”
“Unfortunately, there is a lot of hysteria in the media right now, but Britney is fine, and much of this has been overblown and grossly distorted,” they continued.
The outlet reached out for comment from Britney‘s camp but did not hear back.
Britney‘s husband Sam Asghari also appears to have contested the timeline of events that TMZ proposed. He took to his Instagram story on Wednesday evening to share a video of himself and Britney in a Target.
The couple appeared to be in good spirits.
The latest report comes after fans requested the police perform a wellness check at Britney‘s house last month. She has since spoken out about her mental health.
Britney also generated headlines for much happier reasons earlier this week – she showed off her voice for the first time in months.
