After Drew Barrymore initially made a statement confirming that the show would go into production, she faced much backlash when it was revealed that it was a struck show, and audience members were escorted out for wearing WGA pins in support of the strike.

After a tearful video message in which she explained that the show would continue and that the situation was “complex,” she eventually deleted the clip and bowed to public backlash and postponed the show on Sunday (September 17).
