Dakota Johnson is escorted out of her car and to the set of her upcoming movie Fifty Shades Darker on Tuesday afternoon (February 16) in Vancouver, Canada.

The 26-year-old actress was joined for the first day of filming by the book’s author E.L. James and her new co-star Eric Johnson, who is not related to her.

We can’t wait to see more photos from set and see everyone get into character. The movie doesn’t hit theaters until February 10, 2017, so we’ll have to live vicariously through set photos until then!

E.L. James, author of the “Fifty Shades of Grey” book series, is taking a ton of heat on Twitter today after holding a Q&A.

The author took questions about the book series, but was also bombarded with statements regarding her alleged homophobia, glorification of abuse, her writing style, and more.

“#AskELJames I need advice on making a BIG romantic gesture. Should I put a GPS tracker in her phone and make threats if she tries to leave?” one user asked. “#AskELJames do you find it ironic that you write as if someone has tied you to a chair and forced you to?” another posed.

E.L. James holds her book “Grey” while attending a book signing event held at Barnes & Noble on Thursday morning (June 18) in New York City.

The author surprised her fans earlier in the day while appearing on The Today Show to help celebrate the character Christian Grey’s birthday.

E.L. rolled out a birthday cake and they all blew out the candles together while also celebrating the release of the new “Fifty Shades of Grey” book.

The highly-anticipated new book “Grey” from author E.L. James is out!

In case you don’t know, the novel tells the “Fifty Shades of Grey” story from Christian’s perspective as opposed to Ana’s point of view.

Not only did fans get to know a little more about the main character, but they also got a ton of sexy new lines to giggle over.

One example (on page 304), “I drag my hand through my hair, and in as even a tone as I can manage I ask, ‘Are you hungry?’”

“‘Not for food,’ she teases.”

“Whoa. She might as well be addressing my groin.”

EL James has announced that she is releasing new Fifty Shades of Grey books, this time from the point of view from Christian Grey!

“Grey” will be released on June 18, Christian’s birthday and the author says that “this book is dedicated to those readers who asked…and asked… and asked… and asked for this.”

Here is the statement that EL gave about her decision to write the new book: “Christian is a complex character, and readers have always been fascinated by his desires and motivations, and his troubled past. Also, as anyone who has ever been in a relationship knows, there are two sides to every story. It’s been a great pleasure to return to my happy place – writing, being with Christian and Ana in their universe, and working with the fantastic team at Vintage.”

The new novel is going to be released as a paperback book and also as an eBook.

The Fifty Shades of Grey sequel has found it’s writer!

E.L. James, the author of the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy, has given her hubby, author Niall Leonard the job!

“Niall is an outstanding writer in his own right, with multiple established credits, and we are lucky to have him join Team Fifty,” producer Michael De Luca told THR.

Sam Taylor-Johnson, the director of Fifty Shades of Grey, recently exited the series after having some difficulties with E.L.

Niall has worked on British television shows Air Force One Is Down and Wire in the Blood, and also helped with the script for the first Fifty Shades movie.
