Superman & Lois just wrapped filming it’s upcoming fourth season!

Cast members of the CW series shared on Tuesday (April 23) that it was their final day on set.

The DC Comics series will return to The CW later this year for what will be the DC Comics adaptation’s final season, with 10 episodes.

While the show is returning, it was revealed that budget cuts were being made, causing changes to the cast, including several stars being demoted from series regular.

In February 2024, president of entertainment at The CW, Brad Schwartz, teased that the upcoming season is “going to blow your minds.”

“I am not kidding, this season is going to be one of the best shows on TV,” he said at the CW’s TCA session. “I watched the first episode last night, and it’s gonna make you cry. It’s amazing.”

“Because of all the special effects, it could be ready for summer…we feel like it would be wasted in the summer. So let’s put it in the fall where we can sell it in the Upfront [and] really, really talk about it.”

The superhero show is the final DC Comics series remaining on The CW after the network’s rebrand, and it will be ending after it’s upcoming fourth season, which will premiere in the fall.

The CW is revealing new series premiere dates!

The network shared the season and series premiere dates for shows in April 2024 on Thursday (February 15), but there are two shows missing that are getting some attention.

The premiere date for Superman & Lois‘ fourth and final season is not featured on The CW’s springtime schedule. Instead, it’s being held for fall, TVLine confirmed.

It was just announced that the upcoming fourth season of Superman & Lois will be it’s last!

The final DC show left on The CW is set to return for a reduced, 10-episode season in 2024.

Earlier this year, Brad Schwartz, President of Entertainment, The CW Network, said that the show was one “of our strongest performers across our linear and digital platforms with some of the most passionate fanbases in all of television. We are grateful to our partners at Warner Bros. Television and Berlanti Productions for their continued collaboration, and we cannot wait to get started on the new seasons.”

“We are grateful for the years of hard work and graceful storytelling from the show’s writers, producers, actors and crew, as well as our terrific partners at Warner Bros. Television and Berlanti Productions,” Brad said after the latest news. “As Superman embarks on his final flight, the team is leaving us with an absolutely epic 10-episode must-watch-every-minute farewell to one of the most legendary CW families ever.”
