Zoe Saldana Reveals Lessons She Learned from Being Bullied

Zoe Saldana leaves a home while going house hunting with a pal on Tuesday afternoon (October 21) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 36-year-old pregnant actress is currently expecting twins with her husband Marco Perego and the babies will be arriving pretty soon!

Zoe appeared on The Queen Latifah Show this weekend and opened up about being bullied as a kid and the life lessons she learned from it.

“It was really hard because I love women, but there was for a long time in my life when I was younger, I sort of gave up on trying to find female friends because girls can sometimes be a little too mean with each other,” Zoe said. “My mom always stood by us and she would talk it through. She never uplifted us by putting someone else down. She would always make us understand there’s probably something going on in their lives… nobody bullies when they’re happy.”
