'Modern Family' Creator Steve Levitan's Wife Files for Divorce

Steve Levitan has reportedly split from his wife Krista after 23 years of marriage.

The 53-year-old Modern Family creator’s wife filed for divorce, but his rep told TMZ that she filed “by mistake.” The site is reporting that Krista is still going ahead with the divorce though.

Steve and Krista have three adult children so there will be no battle over custody, but she is looking for spousal support. There is no prenup and the couple’s estimate worth is at around $50 million.

In addition to Modern Family, Steve is the creator of Just Shoot Me and he also was on the writing teams for Frasier, The Larry Sanders Show, and Wings. He is the recipient of nine Emmy Awards so far in his career!
