Tom Brady's Suspension Reinstated by U.S. Appeals Court

Tom Brady‘s four-game suspension from the NFL imposed as part of the Deflategate scandal has been upheld by the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

The judge sided with the NFL and ruled against Brady and the players union.

“We hold that the Commissioner properly exercised his broad discretion under the collective bargaining agreement and that his procedural rulings were properly grounded in that agreement and did not deprive Brady of fundamental fairness,” the court ruled on Monday (April 25) in a 2-1 decision in New York (via ESPN).

A lower court ruled in September that Brady could skip the suspension while NFL commissioner Roger Goodell believed he deserved the suspension.
