Ryan Lochte Says 'DWTS' is 10 Times Harder Than Swimming

Ryan Lochte and his girlfriend Kayla Rae Reid head back to their car after grabbing dinner on Saturday night (September 24) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The couple enjoyed a meal at the new celeb hotspot Catch LA.

The day before, Ryan and his Dancing With The Stars partner Cheryl Burke made an appearance on Extra at Universal Studios, where he talked about how much harder dancing is than swimming.

“This is ten times harder. I thought being an athlete would be a piece of cake learning how to dance,” he told host Mario Lopez. “It’s so hard. Luckily, I have her as my dance partner or I’d be so lost.”

Cheryl also had some very nice things to say about Ryan.

“He’s amazing, he’s always on time, likes to have fun, works hard,” she shared. “It doesn’t come natural to him at all; posture, we have to work on. He wants to do well and giving me his all and that’s all you can ask for.”
