Comedian Jim Gaffigan Reveals Wife Had 'Life Threatening' Brain Stem Tumor Removed

Comedian Jim Gaffigan has revealed that his wife Jeannie had a life threatening brain tumor removed from her brain stem last month.

“Two weeks ago an MRI revealed @jeanniegaffigan had a large tumor around her brain stem that was life threatening. After nine hours of urgent surgery the tumor was completely removed. She is now recovering at home. We thank you for your continued prayers,” Jim wrote on Facebook.

Jim and Jeannie have five children together and they created The Jim Gaffigan Show together. We’re so happy to hear of Jeannie‘s recovery and we’re sending our thoughts to the whole Gaffigan family.
