Christian Bale Wins Second Best Actor Award at Critics' Choice 2019!

Christian Bale snags his second Best Actor award at the 2019 Critics’ Choice Awards!

The 44-year-old The Dark Knight actor took the stage to accept the award for Best Actor in a Movie from Nicole Kidman on Sunday (January 13) in Santa Monica, Calif.

He also won Best Actor in a Comedy for his role as Dick Cheney in Vice earlier in the night (though he said the film should be considered a “tragedy” instead.)

“I’ve always admired people who are wiling to make a fool of themselves, and that’s what I think acting is all about,” Christian said. “Embracing humiliation – that’s what it’s all about. I’ve enjoyed it so much…When you can only do one thing in your life, it’s great to be recognized for it.”
