(500) Days of Summer‘s Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt reunite 10 years after their famous film’s debut in a new feature for Entertainment Weekly.

“This is a movie with zero dramatic irony. Zero. It is 100 percent from Tom’s point of view, which we’ve talked about before, but it’s one thing people very much misunderstand about the movie. They think Summer’s a villain,” Zooey said. “And also, it’s like, the moment she starts expressing herself — the moment she starts being like, ‘Okay, I can trust you, I’ll tell you about myself’ — the voiceover drowns her out.”
