Will Smith Says His Blue Genie Transformation In 'Aladdin' is '100 Percent GGI'!

Will Smith paid a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday (May 21) and dished all about taking on an iconic character like the Genie in Aladdin!

“It’s my first time being blue, I’ve never been blue… I enjoy being blue,” the 50-year-old actor told Jimmy.

Will then went on to explain that when you see Genie in his full blue form in the film, it’s not actually him: “What’s so interesting is that people don’t realize that when I’m blue genie, there’s no part of that character that is actually me,” he revealed. “It’s a 100% CGI character. It’s totally created. It’s not my head, it’s a 100% CGI character.”

“30 years of things that I’ve done and cultivated as a performer, and all of them got used in this movie,” Will continued. “If there was a boxing scene, it would’ve been everything I’ve ever done.”
