Joaquin Phoenix & Rooney Mara To Star Together in New Movie From Lynne Ramsey

Joaquin Phoenix and Rooney Mara are headed back to the big screen together!

According to a new report, the engaged actors are set to star in a new movie from director Lynne Ramsey.

Collider is reporting that Lynne actually revealed the news in a brand new interview, during the Valencia International Film Festival.

No plot details or title was given for the flick, however, Lynne did comment on working with Joaquin.

“He’s crazy, but he’s the best actor I’ve ever met,” she shared. “Everything he does on the set has a reason. It’s much more difficult when you come up with an original idea like this, but it’s impossible not to get excited when you’re preparing a movie with Joaquin.”

Lynne previously worked with Joaquin on You Were Never Really Here.

Joaquin and Rooney first starred together on screen in 2013′s Her, and bother have a handful of upcoming projects on the books.

Right now, though, they’ve been focused on raising their son, River.
