The actress opened up in an interview with South Korea’s Maeil Business Newspaper. (English translation via Allkpop.)

“Before I only had 400 followers. When I looked today I had 1.68 million followers. I still can’t fathom what is going on. haha. There are many international fans who follow me,” she said.

“They send me messages of support in so many different languages. I want to reply to each one but I feel apologetic because I can’t.”

As of now, she has over 2.2 million followers.

“I can’t believe I’m experiencing this in my lifetime. I don’t know how to thank them. I really feel that I am receiving so much attention and love now, so, I think I should be more careful with my actions,” she continued.

She also spoke about working with the cast of Squid Game.

“There were a lot of scenes we filmed together and we all have good personalities so we would always laugh with each other when we would wait for the next scene. There are so many behind the scene stories that I can’t just pick one. I think we laughed together and cried together, we were so comfortable with the director and the staff as well. They made the atmosphere so joyful, it was an experience I will never forget,” she said.
