Kate Winslet Reveals If There's Any Talk of 'Mare of Easttown' Season 2

One of 2021′s biggest TV shows was HBO’s Mare of Easttown starring Kate Winslet.

The series, which earned 16 Emmy nominations, centered on a small-town Pennsylvania detective who investigates a local murder as life crumbles around her.

Now, Kate was asked about an update on if there will be a second season of the smash-hit series.

“I just don’t know what we’ll do,” Kate said on the Happy Sad Confused podcast. “All I can say is no decision has been made. Honestly, it really hasn’t.”

“How would that [story] evolve? Those are questions none of us can answer right now. The question is, do you quit while you’re ahead? Do you hold your head high and say, ‘Look at what we did, I’m so proud of that,’ and just walk away? Or do we go for it again?” she added.

Evan Peters, Julianne Nicholson, and Guy Pearce also starred.

Kate previously did reveal there were some ideas of how they could craft a second season of the show.
