A cockroach ended up being the most unexpected guest of the night at the 2023 Met Gala.

The critter made an appearance on the red carpet at one point during fashion’s biggest night on Monday evening (May 1) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

The cockroach became a viral sensation thanks to all of the reporters and photographers who captured the moment and shared it on social media.
