Marcia Strassman Dead - 'Welcome Back, Kotter' Star Dies at 66
Marcia Strassman, who played Julie on the 1970s sitcom Welcome Back, Kotter, has passed away at the age of 66.
“Marcia died at her Sherman Oaks, California, home on Friday (October 24) after battling breast cancer for seven years,” her sister Julie Strassman revealed (via Page Six).
“They gave her 2 ½ years to live but she lasted much longer,” Julie continued. “She was very courageous.”
In case you didn’t know, Marcia also played Rick Moranis‘ wife in the Disney hit movie Honey I Shrunk The Kids and its sequel, Honey I Blew Up The Kid.
