Donna Douglas Dead - 'Beverly Hillbillies' Actress Dies at 81

Donna Douglas, known for her role on The Beverly Hillbillies, has passed away at the age of 81, according to TMZ.

The actress died at her home in Louisiana, surrounded by her close friends and family on Thursday (January 1).

During Donna‘s acting career, she starred in all nine seasons of The Beverly Hillbillies and even came back for the 1981 reunion movie. She also had guest-starring appearances on other shows, such as Mister Ed, The Twilight Zone, The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, Adam 12, and Route 66.

Besides television, Donna was also Elvis Presley‘s co-star in the 1966 film Frankie and Johnny.

Our thoughts go out to Donna‘s family and loved ones during this difficult time.
