Hillary Clinton Writes Official Apology for Email Scandal

Hillary Clinton sits down for an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday (September 8) in New York City.

The presidential candidate was joined on the episode by comedian Amy Schumer and singer Pink.

After the taping, Hillary took to her Facebook account to send her followers an official apology letter over the email scandal that she has been entangled in recently.

“I wanted you to hear this directly from me: Yes, I should have used two email addresses, one for personal matters and one for my work at the State Department. Not doing so was a mistake. I’m sorry about it, and I take full responsibility,” Hillary said.

“It’s important for you to know a few key facts. My use of a personal email account was aboveboard and allowed under the State Department’s rules. Everyone I communicated with in government was aware of it. And nothing I ever sent or received was marked classified at the time,” she continued.

“As this process proceeds, I want to be as transparent as possible. That’s why I’ve provided all of my work emails to the government to be released to the public, and why I’ll be testifying in public in front of the Benghazi Committee later next month.

I know this is a complex story. I could have—and should have—done a better job answering questions earlier. I’m grateful for your support, and I’m not taking anything for granted.

I understand that you may have more questions, and I am going to work to keep answering them. If you want to read more, including my emails themselves, please go here:

Thank you,

Hillary”

What is it with the Clintons that they just cannot say that what they have done is wrong? Bill did it and now it’s Hillary’s turn. The only thing she is sorry about is that this conversation has a life of its own that she is unable to quash or spin. She violated policy. She received and sent classified information on an unsecured server located in her HOME. Last I checked, her residence is NOT a government building. To me, it doesn’t matter whether or not a document was labeled classified…if it related to State Department business, it should NOT have been on that server. She was wrong…she got caught and her so-called apology is insincere. It was like…make apology to public…check. Get back to campaigning…check.

This is just funny. Ppl complain she isn’t apologizing and when she does, ppl still complain. No matter what she can’t tie with ur expectations, let alone win.

Didn’t she just say TWO DAYS ago that she wouldn’t apologize for it and that she did nothing wrong?

Did you watch the Andrea Mitchell interview? She was apologizing because she was told she had to if she has any hope of getting the nomination. She still does not believe that she did anything wrong…the Clintons never do. So, she goes from denying and joking about it a week ago to this so-called apology. An apology that provides no answers. Sorry, but the FBI doesn’t care at this point what spin she will try to put on it.
