Jessie J Says She's 'Ready To Write Another Album'!

Jessie J strikes a pose while attending a special screening for her latest film Ice Age: Collision Course held at the Crosby Street Hotel on Wednesday (July 20) in New York City.

“I never want to be given anything without working for it,” the 28-year-old expressed about auditioning for the film, during her appearance on Live with Kelly that same day. “I did an hour’s audition and tried to find a voice they liked. I don’t want to get it because of the music I’ve done. I want to get it because I deserve it.”

Jessie also revealed that she won’t be returning to The Voice Australia so she can focus on recording her next album.

“I love doing the show. I’ve done four seasons – two in the UK and two in Sydney. But I just need to make another album,” Jessie told Kelly. “It’s really time-consuming, and if I’m honest with you, I get to the point where I’m in the chair, and I just want to sing. ‘I want to tell you how to make it better, I want to coach you, but I want to make it a duet’… I’m ready to write another album.”
