Sylvester Stallone Is Not Interested in NEA Position in Trump's Administration

Sylvester Stallone was rumored to be offered a position in Donald Trump‘s administration, but he has confirmed that he is not interested in the role with the National Endowment of the Arts.

The 70-year-old actor still seems interested in having a role in the political world, but would rather spend his time working to support our nation’s veterans.

“I am incredibly flattered to have been suggested to be involved with the National Endowment of the Arts,” Stallone said in a statement to JustJared.com. “However I believe I could be more effective by bringing national attention to returning military personnel in an effort to find gainful employment, suitable housing and financial assistance these heroes respectfully deserve.”

The NEA distributes governments grants to arts organizations around the country.
