Whoopi Goldberg Reveals She's No Longer Allowed to Drive

Whoopi Goldberg is explaining why she no longer drives.

The 63-year-old actress and television personality revealed she now has a chauffeur to get around.

“I have a driver. The reason I have a driver is because I am not allowed to drive,” Whoopi explained on The View.

She continued, “My sight is not good enough, people get nervous when I get behind the wheel. So, I am not allowed to really drive.”

The news comes just a few months after Whoopi had a major health scare while suffering from pneumonia in both lungs.

After her health scare, Whoopi said she “came very close to leaving the earth.”
