Madonna Will Introduce Pussy Riot at Brooklyn Amnesty Benefit

Madonna is escorted to her car by a large entourage after going for a workout at the gym on Thursday (January 30) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 55-year-old entertainer hit the stage with Miley Cyrus earlier in the week at the young singer’s MTV Unplugged concert to perform a mashup of their songs!

Madonna will be heading to New York City next week to introduce the recently freed Pussy Riot members at Amnesty International‘s upcoming benefit concert at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

“I am honored to introduce my fellow freedom fighters Masha and Nadya from Pussy Riot,” Madonna said in a statement (via Rolling Stone). “I have admired their courage and have long supported their commitment and the sacrifices they have made in the name of freedom of expression and human rights.”
